Claire and I back from the USA to some sunny days in Ireland but what now seems to be quite a wet and cool May ahead, but we are doing some wonderful things ...

7th May, Thursday, Poetry Day Ireland 

Poetry Among The Bluebells for Poetry Day
Derreen Woods, near Knockvicar, Co. Roscommon

among the bluebells, poetry, shared tea and snacks

7:30 pm meet up at the woodland gate car park
If car park is full, another car park a little north beside Fin Lough
If later than 3 pm text/call 087 208 2873 to locate where we are.

9th May, Saturday  (postponed from 2nd May) 

Uisneach Fire Festival

Bathing In The Fae's Breath excerpts
with Claire Roche on harps, plus some of her songs.

Stage we are performing on seems to have various names
'Heritage Talks tent', 'Spoken Word tent', 'Holistic Area'
7:45 pm until about 8:45 pm, we are last performance on that stage,
obviously sheltered from any rain, intimate

Bards In The Woods, 
Derreen Woods, near Knockvicar, Co. Roscommon

among the bluebells, fairy ring, tall oaks, holy well
walk, foraging, poetry, stories, shared picnic.

Open air Ireland book reading in the west
This will be reading and not with Claire.
The full book launch with us both will be at
Woodford House the following Saturday.

Bards In The Woods event

13th June, Yeats Day 150th year celebration,
Claire Roche, Glynis Casson, for a special Yeats celebration on Sandymount Green, South of Dublin.

also, there will be Bards In The Woods Events and Concert Specials through 2015 that will be dedicated to W.B. Yeats 150th year since his birth. I will announce these soon

... certainly a 'fringe' event in Hazelwood on 14th June
