Air Fares, Insurance & Ireland Airport Transfer.
In addition to our package rates you will need air tickets, travel insurance and transfer transport from an Ireland airport to the start of your Celtic Ways vacation. This is information on how to obtain these extras.
When you book we will suggest individual offers that may be available to you
Flying into Knock Airport (NOC)
Knock is our local airport that we wish to support as much as we can. It is the most comfortable and hassle free airport in Ireland to arrive in. It is also the most convenient airport for the vacations we serve and, therefore, enhances the quality of vacation we serve.
2007 was a very successful year for Scottish airline, FlyGlobespan, and their transatlantic service to New York and Boston from Knock. Unfortunately, they have lost their licence to continue that service.
The administration of Knock Airport are currently actively seeking an alternative Transatlantic service to land here and we look forward to sharing this news as we receive it.
Meanwhile, if you find that you can get a good UK flight deal to
London – Gatwick (LGW), Stansted (STN) or Luton (LTN),
Birmingham (BHX),
Manchester (MAN),
Bristol (BRS),
Glasgow (GLA),
please consider transfer to a flight from these cities to Knock. Ireland West airport.

Flying into Dublin Airport (DUB)
Truly an international airport now. Shame about the congestion of traffic that surrounds it and the lack of an efficient public transit service. The opening of the Dublin tunnel from nearby the airport into near the centre of town is a huge assistance plus frequency of buses has greatly improved during the past year.
Most people will find they will secure the best airline deals to and from Dublin airport. To assist these deals we are more than happy to transport you to and from Dublin Airport.
What we suggest is that you fly in the day before your vacation and we will transfer you straight to your accommodation.
Alternatively, enjoy our “Jet Lag Recovery Break”, two nights at our local Cromleach Lodge on the Moytura Plateau in Co. Sligo with stunning views, good food, attentive service, comfortable rooms and truly a perfect way to start a vacation.
We also recommond that you plan your Dublin visit to extend the end of your vacation rather than at the start. To assist this we suggest our “Dublin Break”, 3 nights in a five star Dublin hotel and exploring the theatres, shows and night life. Add to this a day tour of either Glendalough or Newgrange followed by a day on the “hop on and hop off” bus tour for exploring the sights of Dublin.
I do not have pages posted about our “Jet Lag Recovery Break” and “Dublin Break” itineraries yet so please inquire about these using our email utility below.
